Troy L. Proctor, 96, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Troy was born May 6, 1922 in Nash County to the late William Dallas and Fannie Pearl Jones Proctor. Mr. Proctor was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Ann Proctor, wife of 63 years Inez Freeman Proctor and son Troy L. "Butch" Proctor, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra Joyner; daughter-in-law Bonita Turner Proctor; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren Kaleb and Kinsleigh Phillips; special friend Evelyn Acreman.
A graveside gathering to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 29, 2018 at Pineview Cemetery.
