Charles "Chuck" Wesley Jones, age 79, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018. Born in Baltimore, MD on December 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Charles Elmer Jones and Cecelia Marie Bandell Jones. He was also preceded in death by his grandsons, Charles Adam and Robert Alexander Daughtridge.

He is survived by his lifetime love, Carolyn Ashbrook; their four daughters, Cheryl Gold and husband, Warren, of Red Oak, Colleen Hales and husband, Ron, of High Point, Caren Daughtridge and husband, Warren, of Rocky Mount, Candace Shugart and husband, William, of Lexington; 7 grandchildren; brother, George Jones and wife, Jennifer, of Interlochen, MI; sister, Helene Shugart and husband, Alan, of Lutherville-Timonium, MD.

The family will celebrate his life in his hometown of Baltimore, MD at a later date.
