Garland Francis Barnes, 90, of Rocky Mount, passed away Wednesday May 30, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Cleo and his son, Robin.

He is survived by his son Gary and wife Kristine; daughter, Debbie Matthews and husband Sam; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Barnes; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount at 1 p.m. on Saturday June 2, 2018. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery and at their home in Rocky Mount.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 420 Paul St. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
