Joseph Earl Newsome, 64, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was born in Nash County May 14, 1954 to the late Joseph Newsome and Myrtleen Messer.

Joseph was preceded in death by two infant brothers.

He is survived by his son, Timothy Williams; daughter, Kristen Horner; two grandchildren; brothers Charles Newsome, Marvin Newsome, Johnny Lewis and a sister Frances Richardson and husband, Randy.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends after service at the home.
