Ashley Jeanette Barnes, age 27, of Lenoir, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Born in Orange County, NC on September 27, 1990, she was the daughter of Donna Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl Barnes, Sr.

She is survived by her mother, Donna Barnes (Billy Outlaw) of Whitakers; maternal grandmother, Betty Barnes of Whitakers; one aunt, two uncles and many cousins.

A graveside service was held Friday, May 4, 2018 at Battleboro Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Proctor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Howell Center, 100 Howell Drive, La Grange, NC 28551.
