Betty "Sue" Page Poland, 74, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was born September 21, 1943 in Wilson County to the late Addison Kearney Page and Gladys Brantley Page Braswell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father Lee Braswell; brothers, Kenny Page and Danny Braswell; brothers in law Eugene Poland (Angeline), Sylvester Poland (Louise); sisters in law Blonnie Poland and Ruby Poland.
Sue is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alvin Poland; sons Glenn Poland (Tammie), Neal Poland (Carmen); four grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers Jim Page (Cathy), JR Page (Vickie), Bobby Braswell (Denise); sisters Pat Skinner (James), Susie Boyd (Bobby); brothers-in-law Tom Poland, James Poland (Joyce), Carlton Poland (Marie), Jerry Poland; sisters-in-law Tempie Dillard (Hughes) Dell Carpenter (Harry), and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. C. J. Cauble and Royce Williams officiating. Burial was held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Wilson.
