Corrinne "Crin" Congleton Willcox, age 80, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Born in Lenoir County, NC on April 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wilfred Congleton, Sr. and Theeny Mohorn Congleton. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Harriett Cleaves Congleton Jones; brother, Joseph Wilfred Congleton, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, J.N. Willcox of Rocky Mount; and her five children; Jan Mason Willcox Raynor (Jim) of Raleigh, Jaye Corrinne Willcox Biggs (James) of Rocky Mount, Dianne Theeny Willcox Bulluck (Trey) of Rocky Mount, John Albert Willcox (Karla) of Rocky Mount, Ami Paulette Willcox of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren; sister, Agnes Lystra Congleton Fore of Rogersville, TN.
Services were held Friday, April 13, 2018 at at Lakeside Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, with Dr. Jody Wright officiating. A private inurnment Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church Music Program, 1501 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC, in Corrinne's honor.
