Julius Grant Turner, age 66, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County on October 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Billy Richard Turner and Janet Eloise Creekmore Turner.

He is survived by his son, Billy Turner of Nashville; and daughter, Emalie Turner of Enfield; his sister, Janet "Jan" Leigh Turner Arnold and husband, Michael, of Rocky Mount; and three nieces.

A special gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
