Henry Albert Thompson, 90, passed away Monday April 2, 2018. He was born June 17, 1927 in Nash County to the late John and Ethel Moss Thompson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Thompson and one sister, Annie Mae Webb.

He is survived by his wife Irene Langley Thompson; two sons, John (Sandra) and Terry (Cindi) Thompson; two sisters, Omie Wester and Janet; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 11:00 am at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Barneshill Free Will Baptist Church, 5592 W Mount Dr. Nashville, North Carolina 27856-8264.
