Mildred McManus Gaddy, age 87, of Rocky Mount, passed awy March 30, 2018. Born in Union County, NC on July 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Emerson McManus and Addie Black McManus. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Gilford Gaddy; brothers, Marvin Klutz McManus and Benjamin Franklin McManus; and sister, Virginia McManus Shoe.

She is survived by three children, Susan Gaddy Pressley and husband, Mark, of Nashville, David Lane Gaddy, and wife, Ellen, of Creston, and Lynn Gaddy Traynor and husband, Michael, of Monkton, MD; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mary McManus Parker; and one sister-in-law, Kay Gaddy.

A private family memorial service and spreading of ashes will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Breckenridge Retirement Center, 2500 Hunter Hill Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
