Barbara Lynn Williams Barnes, age 66, of Elm City, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Born in Nash County on May 17, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Norwood Woodall Williams and Ruth Barnes Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph Barnes; sons, Travis Barnes and wife, Lauren, of Nashville and Trenton Barnes and wife, Carla, of Elm City; daughter, Terry Lynn Barnes Cook and husband, Wes, of Wilmington; five grandchildren; sister, Judy Powell of Rock Hill, SC.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
