Thaddeus Edward (Mr. Ed) Jones, Sr., 84, of Spring Hope passed away at home Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born in Raleigh.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 5, 2018 at Spring Hope Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Boone officiated. Interment followed the service at Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh NC.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Jones; daughter Cindy Wynne (Reggie); sons Thad (Donna) and Matt (Joe); ten grandchildren;seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers Jerry of Greensboro and Tommy from Clayton; sisters Martha Muiccio of Apex and Fay Davis of Morrisville, plus many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Branson Jones Sr. and Rebecca Jones, brother Walter Jones, Jr., sister, Irma Jean (Boots) Henebury and daughter, Dawn.
