Corinna Coggin Dement, 93, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was born in Nash County June 6, 1924 to the late Roy and Mattie Batchelor Coggin.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Dallas Dement; sisters Elizabeth Allan, LaRue Moore, Doris and Rachel Burnette.

She is survived by her daughters Donna (Bobby Duke Jr.), and Lisa (Mike Chappell); two grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Coggin officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
