Josephine Strickland Hydrick of Wilson passed away Friday, February 16, 2018. Born in Nash County she was the daughter of the late Balus and Lila Brantley Strickland.

Surviving are her sons: Gary (Gloria) Hydrick and Darell (Michelle) Hydrick of Elgin, SC and Wayne (Melinda) Hydrick of GA; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Strickland, Curley Manning, Eugene Strickland, James Strickland and Larry Strickland. She was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Strickland.

A memorial gathering for Jo was held Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Rocky Mount.
