Kenneth "Ed" Edward Batchelor, Sr. was born March 31, 1939. He passed away January 29, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth P. Batchelor, mother Mary B. Edwards Batchelor, brother Jimmy Batchelor and son Kenneth Edward Batchelor, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Betty Lou Edwards Batchelor, daughters, Tammie Batchelor (Jerry) of Rocky Mount, Susan D. Dhonau of Charlotte, son David H. Dawes (Pam) of Rocky Mount; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at5 p.m. at Grace Baptist Temple, Rocky Mount with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Visitation with family and friends will follow.
