James Thomas "Tom" Brown, age 62, of Zolfo Springs, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Born in Nash County on January 15, 1956, he was the son of the late Theophilous Brown and Louise Ellis Brown. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Madison Angel Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kimberly Robertson Brown of Zolfo Springs, FL; sons, Daniel Brown and wife, Gallison, of Raleigh, Paul Brown of Raleigh, Neil Brown and wife, Aimee of Southern Pines, and Joel Brown of Southern Pines; daughters, Emily Brown of Raleigh, and Anna Ruth Brown of Winter Park, FL; four grandchildren; brothers, Ron Brown and wife, Linda, of Garner, Don Brown and wife, Joan, of Florence, SC; sister, Georgia Fuller and husband, Bill, of Daleville, VA.

Services are Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Servant's Heart Fellowship, Rocky Mount, with the Pastor Dan Rolfe officiating. A visitation will follow the service in the church. A private family burial will be held at another time.
