David Blount Whitley, Sr., age 88, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Proctor's Chapel Baptist Church, Rocky Mount. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery.
