Andrew Jackson Kennedy Jr., 85, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. He was born April 2, 1932 to the late Andrew Jackson and Susan Long Kennedy. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sons Infant Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy III and Philip Kennedy; brothers Theodore and James Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife Donnievan B. Kennedy; son Darrell Kennedy (Pam); brother Bobby Kennedy; sisters Loleta Davis, Grace Barnes and Jean Kennedy; one step granddaughter; five Great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Dees officiating. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
