Annie Pearl Braswell Puckett, 76, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was born March 14, 1941 in Nash County to the late Joseph Braswell and Pearl Glasgow Braswell. Annie Pearl loved serving her family, friends and her church. She was a dedicated member and Deacon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Annie Pearl retired after 30 years as a Deputy Clerk of Court in Nash County and received The Order of Long Leaf Pine award for her service to the State of NC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her special aunt, Addie Leigh Bailey, whom she was a care giver for more than 20 years, and stepmother, Florine Cooke Braswell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Brian Puckett and wife Cindy; daughter, Terry Proctor and husband Steve; step-brother, Steve Bass and wife Anita; grandchildren, Matthew (Fiancé Hannah Everett) and Maggie Proctor, Chance and Cannon Puckett.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Chet Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
