Bennie Robert "Snoot" Hicks, 76, of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. from the Allen Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg with the Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Chapel Church Cemetery.

Survivors include five daughters, Anisha Hicks, and her husband, Kuwumie, of Rocky Mount, Isis Williams and her husband, Issiah, of Murfreesboro, Felicia Person and her husband, Raynor, of Nashville and April Person and her husband, Lamont, of Rocky Mount; six sons, Robert McKinley Hicks and his wife, Laura, of Bunn, Benny Earl Hicks and his wife, Lisa, Vincent Jerome Hicks and his wife, Phyllis, of Raleigh, Marshal McCray Hicks, of Louisburg, Bingi Hicks and his wife, Cynthia, of the home and Timothy Person and his wife, Joyce, of Halifax; a brother, Johnnie Hicks, of Louisburg; 38 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
