Billy Edward Williams, age 83, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Born in Wilson County on April 21, 1934, he was the son of the late George Curtis Williams and Nellie Proctor Williams. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irene Causey Williams; son, Mike Williams and wife, Lisa St. John-Williams, of Apex, and daughter, Billie Odom of Rocky Mount; one grandchild; brothers, Lester Williams of Rocky Mount and Tim Williams of Rocky Mount; sisters, Louise Twine of Portsmouth, VA, Rachel Slade of Portsmouth, VA, Patricia Ayscue of Henderson, and Joyce Daughtridge of Rocky Mount; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at People's Fellowship, Rocky Mount with the Pastor Dave Grogan and Tim Leonard officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
