Margaret Barnes Ridgell, age 87, of Red Oak, formally a lifelong resident of Ocala, Fl, died December 7, 2017. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Christie Bowling.

She was the daughter of Fletcher Counts Barnes, Sr., and Florence Jean Little Barnes.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Gaither Ridgell; daughters Dawn Ridgell Bowling and her husband Tony of Micanopy, Fl; daughter, Jean Ridgell Field and her husband Keith of Red Oak; four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Nash General Hospital, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
