Bobby Ray Alford, 78, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. He was born August 3, 1939 to the late Iliff and Nora Phillips Alford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy and a sister, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife Aileen Alford of 58 years; one son, Robert Alford and wife Teara; four sisters, Mildred Shelton, Brenda Boykin, Muriel Bennett and Wanda Alford; one grandchild.

Services were held Monday, December 11, 2017 in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pike and Rev. Dempsey Winstead officiating.
