James Gregory "Greg" Colbert, of Rocky Mount, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born in Edgecombe County on October 30, 1958, he was the son of the late James Edward Colbert and Ponola Faircloth Colbert. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Edward Colbert.

He is survived by his aunt, Dorothy Vann of Virginia Beach, VA; uncle, William Smith of Rocky Mount; several cousins.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Pineview Cemetery with Mike Naron officiating.
