Carolyn Lynch Spurlock, 80 of Rocky Mount, passed away on December 5, 2017.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Pine Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband, Emmett E. Spurlock, Jr.; two sons, Emmett E. Spurlock, III and his wife Bridgette, of Fayetteville, GA and Jonathan Lynch Spurlock, of Stockbridge, GA; three sisters, Valeria Lynch Lee, of Rocky Mount, Julie "Matdora" Lynch Walker and her husband, Randy, of Durham and Annora Yvonne Lynch Hedgepeth and her husband, Fred, of Hollister; and one grandchild.
