Jean Griffin Taylor, age 87, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born in Dauphin County, PA on August 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Walter Leonard Griffin and Rachel Marie Williams Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Jake Taylor, Sr. and her son, Jerry Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Lynn Taylor of Nashville; sons, William "Jake" Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Raleigh, and James Edward Taylor of Nashville; her brother Lee Griffin of Atlanta, Ga; a daughter-in-law Ellen Joyner Taylor of Nashville; and numerous grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
