Sally Rose Cockrell, 94, of Wilson, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, 11:00 AM, Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.

Mrs. Cockrell was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Edgar Cockrell, Jr. and parents, Charlie and Hazel Cooper Rose.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Belcher (Jerry) of Wilson; son, W. E. "Ed" Cockrell III (Virginia) of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Elizabeth Winstead of Wilson and Clayton Belcher (Allison) of Wilson; great-grandchild, Bryce Winstead; sisters, Myrtle Lamm of Nashville, Polly Denton of Nashville and Bobbie Jean Collie of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 1100 Forest Hills Rd NW, Wilson, NC 27896-1436.
