Fay Reynolds Mayo, age 84, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Born in Rocky Mount, on December 4, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John Clifton Reynolds and Miriam Taylor Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. Claude Mayo, Jr.; and daughters, Mimi Mayo Learn and Sarah Mayo Smith.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Richard Learn; one granddaughter,; sister, Polly Reynolds Warner; and nephew and nieces.

Services were held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Church of the Good Shepherd, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
