Edward Dean Carpenter, 52, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was born in Edgecombe County May 7, 1965. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Thomas Carpenter and a brother, Scott Carpenter.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Faye Carpenter; brothers Randal Keith Carpenter, Terry Lynn Carpenter and a close lady friend, Amber Martinez.

Services will be held Monday, October 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
