LOUISBURG – Wally D. Shearin, 43, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held April 6 in the chapel of Spring Hope Funeral Home. Burial followed in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Jewel M. and William Carpenter of Louisburg; a daughter and fiance, Bonnie Shearin and Christopher Smith of Louisburg; a stepbrother, Gary Carpenter of Louisburg; and one grandson.
