Joseph Dalton Evans, 67, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. He was born December 11, 1949 in Edgecombe County to the late Dave Cooper Evans Jr. and Marjorie Taylor Harris.

He is survived by two daughters, Peggy Dawn Evans, Lisa Evans and friend, Brent Hendricks; one brother, Erv Evans; one sister, Lois Hill and friend Wayne Robertson; two grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mill Branch Cemetery with Travis Nines officiating.
