ROCKY MOUNT - William Earl Cook, Sr. 69, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008. He was born in Nash County, May 27, 1938.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Maria Farmer of Wake Forest; sons, William Earl Cook, Jr. of Waxhaw, Michael Lee Cook of Battleboro; his mother, Lucille Robbins Cook Allen and Step-father, John Allen of Rocky Mount; sister, Pearl Erber of Oakton,VA; and five grandchildren . He was preceded in death by his father, William W. Cook and brother, Joseph Wayne Cook.

Please join the family in a celebration of William Cook’s life Monday, April 7, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Church on the Rise with Rev. Howard Harrell and Rev. Jason Cockrell officiating. The family received friends from 6-7:00 prior to the service at the church, and other time’s at the home of Lucille and John Allen. Please join the family again in a celebration of William Cook’s life Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.
