Ivon Glover Jr., age 82, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Born in Nash County on January 24, 1935, he was the son of the late Ivon Glover Sr. and Alice H. Moss Glover. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elaine M Glover who passed away on August 14, 2016 and four brothers, Danny Ray Glover, Othie "Buck" Moss, Wallace Glover and Dallas Glover.

He is survived by one son, Timothy Wayne Glover and wife Doris, daughter, Betty Lou Scharett and husband Joseph; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; sister Brenda Davis and husband Jimmy and brother, Terry Glover and wife Martha and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Rocky Mount. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
