Burnell Maurice Middleton, 43, of Nashville, died on Sunday, September 17, 2017.

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Bunn Chapel Church in Nashville with the Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Elisha M. Midleton, of Wilson; a son, Seth N. Middleton, of Wilson; a sister, Elizabeth M. Jones and her husband, Roderick, of Nashville; and a brother, Brian N. Middleton and his wife, Talisha, of Charlotte.
