Dadual Eugene Poland, 87, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was born in Nash County on September 26, 1929 to the late James Elmer and Lessie Winstead Poland. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Agelene Poland; son Tracy Lee Poland; brother Sylvester Poland and sister-in-laws Louise, Blonnie and Ruby Poland.

Eugene is survived by his son Alan Eugene Poland (Dolores); 3 grandchildren; brothers James Poland (Joyce), Tom Poland, Alvin Poland (Sue), Carlton Poland (Marie), Jerry Poland; sisters, Tempie Dillard (Hughes) and Dell Carpenter (Harry) and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. H.E. "Dick" Singleton officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
