Dr. C. Dale Therrien, 81, of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. Born in Coos Bay, OR on June 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Leo Ernest Therrien, Sr., and Helen Cobb Therrien. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Leo Ernest Therrien, Jr.

Dale is survived by his wife Maryalyce Jean Therrien; his children from his first marriage: Marceline Therrien, and Philip Therrien, his wife Susan; two grandchildren; and the children from his second marriage, Christopher Dale Therrien, and Mark Therrien and his wife Olena Gorbatenko.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 6 at 11 a.m. at OLPH Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount, celebrated by Father Timothy Meares. Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Scranton, PA at a later date. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 5 - 7 p.m. at OLPH Catholic Church, with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brianna Marie McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship, c/o OLPH Catholic School, 328 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
