Edward Earl Jenkins, 49, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was born May 6, 1968 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Jenkins; step-father, Kenneth Bass and maternal grandmother, Doris Jenkins.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Outlaw Bass; his wife Martha Jenkins; step-son, Patrick Woodcock; step-daughter, Jessica Woodcock; brother, Jeff Jeffries and wife Misty; sister, Kim Jenkins and friend Collins; five step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial to follow at Denton Cemetery of Spring Hope.
