Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene Patterson, age 63, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Born in Nash County on December 21, 1953, he was the son of Marvin Ray Patterson and Margaret B. Patterson. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret B. Patterson of Rocky Mount; fiancé, Janice Owens of Rocky Mount; son, Dylan Patterson and his fiancé, Bethany Williams; brother, Alton "Ray" Patterson and wife, Annette; sister, Donna P. Bragg of Rocky Mount; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Lt. Jonathan and Dawn Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1 - 2:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.
