Pauline Eason Edwards, age 91, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. Born in Nash County on May 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Eason and Ida Pridgen Eason. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll D. Edwards; son, Roger Dale Edwards; brother, Norman Eason; and sister, Hazel Lindsey.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Edwards of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. David Drumel officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
