Ann Wheeless Moore, age 101, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. Born in Nash County, on January 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Zollie Hoke Wheeless and Claudia Nelms Wheeless. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Moore, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Flynt; and ten siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Bob Moore and wife, Barbara, of Knightdale, and Steve Moore and wife, Karen, of Holly Springs; daughter, Nancy M. Berry and husband, Dick, of Rocky Mount; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Joe Wheeless of Wilmington.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery with Dr. Jody Wright officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 1501 Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
