NASHVILLE – Horace Boone, 61, died Friday, March 28, 2008. Funeral services were held on March 31 at Pine Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Chapel Church cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Boone of Greensboro; seven sisters, Edith Norwood, Mary Mills and Lou Richardson, all of Nashville, Florine Silver of Enfield, Virginia Adams of Trenton, N.J., Ruby Winstead of Rocky Mount and Katie Palmer of Hampton, Va.; and two brothers, Harold Boone of Nashville and William Boone of Whitakers.
