Ida Robinson Stanley, age 90, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. Born in Shawnee Oklahoma on August 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lavinia Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Hubert Stanley.
Ida is survived by her son, Chris Stanley and wife, Faye, of Chapel Hill; daughter, Marianne Farris and husband, David, of Rocky Mount; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
Services were held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 153 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Dr. Preston Smith officiating.
