William "Billy" Ralph Barnes, Jr., 74 of Bailey passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017. . The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Murdock Barnes of the home; his daughters, Debbie Whitley and husband, Chris and Wendy Brown and husband, Jess both of Bailey; 3 grandchildren; his brother, Phil Barnes and wife, Theresa of Wilson, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Christine Barnes; one sister, and three brothers.
