John Thomas Hopkins, 66, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. He was born in Nash County September 2, 1951 to the late Alsey and Ruby Bunn Hopkins. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Pitt.

He is survived by daughters, Rebecca Gomez (Jose), Crystal Heggie (Jon); 4 grandchildren; brothers, Earl, Rudy, Scotty, and Don Hopkins; sisters, Diane Gupton, Nancy Whitley, Darlene Jennings and Rubylene Knott.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville.
