Hazel Eason Lindsey, 96, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017. She was born October 23, 1920 in Nash County to the late Clifton and Iva Pridgen Eason. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Lotis C. Lindsey and brother, Norman Eason.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis E. Lindsey and wife Huldah, Larry G. Lindsey and wife Janie; one sister, Pauline Eason Edwards; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Nale officiating. Burial will follow at Pittman Family Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church @ 5556 Bend of the River Rd. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
