David A. "Bull" Evans, 60, of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017. Open visitation is Monday, June 26 from 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27 at 2 p.m. from the Marks Chapel Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Burial will follow in the Marks Chapel Church Cemetery. The Rev. Douglas Leonard will officate.

He is survived by his wife, Artis Evans, of the home; daughter, Regina Evans of the home; sons, David A. Evans, Jr. of the home; sisters, Barbara Jean Lewis of Castalia, Doris Hales of Rocky Mount; brothers, Thurston Lee Evans of Nashville, James Melvin Evans of Castalia; two grandchildren.
