Linda Jean Nichols, age 75, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017=. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Helen Zimmerman.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Wilbur Nichols; son, Thomas Woodrow Nichols and wife, Connie Lisa Nichols; and daughter, Rachelle Lynn Hinnant and husband, Gary Ray Hinnant; four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Englewood United Methodist Church, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Visitation with the family will be following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Englewood United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Englewood United Methodist Church, 300 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
