Donald Ray Jones, 73, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was born in Nash County to the late James and Mary Jones. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Henry Jones; sisters, Eva Holliday and Estelle Robbins.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Patsy Jones; daughter Scarlett Langley(Craig); 3 grandchildren; brother James Jones Jr.; sisters Gladys Leonard, Inez Walker and Ginger Collie.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm Sunday June 11, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Vick officiating. A visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tabernacle of Praise 1279 E. Old Spring Hope Rd. Nashville, NC 27856.
