Harley Augusta Walls, age 90, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Born in Catawba County, NC on April 27, 1927, he was the son of the late Eugene and Julie Williams Walls. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lois Hoffman and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Hayes Walls.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Pauline Walls, daughter, Sylvia Tippett (Tommy) and son, Paul Walls (Beth); 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Walls Gregory.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Church of the Nazarene. Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum.
