Marcellene Joyce Williams Johnson, of Wilson, age 83, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017. Born in Wilson County, on September 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Williams and Maggie Peele Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Johnson; step-mother Ruby "Sis" Williams; and sister, Dorothy Haynes.

She is survived by her daughter, Andra Johnson Glasgow; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will follow the service.
